Came across you guys several months ago after my faithful Internet radio was retired after vtuner licencing ended. Thanks for keeping my OTR needs alive and kicking. BTW from the start I've been curious about the origin of Arkansas Gayle in the bump. I guessed early it was an AI generated voice but sufficiently good to make me not 100% sure. Is that also the same Gayle in honour of the sponsor Gayle? Keep up the great work. Nigel, The Netherlands

I don't understand how you can schedule the same programme on Britcom 2 AND Britcom 3‽ Doesn't anyone there check your timetable? I often tune in to find the same program running parallel. It might not be the same episode but why waste air time? I then switch off and go to another broadcaster. You have plenty of series from which to choose - pick an alternative!

Hi Michael, BritCom 3 does not have a schedule, the programming is pulled from the whole database by random logic. It is possible that sometimes it can clash with another channel. But saying that, you have three British comedy channels to choose from, so not sure why you would have to switch off?

Hi john thank you for your reply my internet radio is a majority internet radio but I'm pleased to say Britbox 1 and 2 have returned i would also like to say that once i can afford to i will start to donate to your service but because i am a pensioner of 77yrs of age with the cost of living that's going on at the moment evey penny counts but wishing all the very best for the future for your programing kind regards Martin Madeley

hi pumpkin fm seems to have disappeared i can get britbox 3 but can't get britbox 1&2 for the last 2 night's on my internet radio i being older person do enjoy listening to the older programs you have to offer have they been taken off permanently regards Martin Madeley

You've recently announced a change in the host handling your broadcasts. I receive Pumpkin via internet radios (Pure and Pinnel brands). There is no URL involved in the configuration. Will I have to do something when you eventually make a change? By the way, Britcom 3 still doesn't show on these. Hi Stephen, It's a logistical nightmare at the moment, but I am wading through it. Hi - I really enjoy listening online. I use the onlineradiobox to connect but this does not show Britcom3 for some reason? Do you get paid for the old adverts? Maybe its best to drop the smoking adverts though? Personally I would prefer continuous programmes but I guess you need the 'fillers' as programmes usually less than 30 minutes!

Thank you for your message, Philip. It is my hope that BritCom 3 will be added to OnlineRadioBox's database within the next 24 hours. No advertisements play on our stations for payment. Historically, tobacco companies have been one of the main sponsors of radio programming, especially in the United States. Hi, I listen via Roberts internet radio, using silicon frontier. Since yesterday both BritCom 1&2 have disappeared from both my radios, although I can still receive those stations on my mobile phone. This happened a month ago too & retuning the stations retrieved them, but this time it doesn't work, neither does resetting my router etc & both stations are dead. I don't use TuneIn or Alexa. Please advise as I am lost without them & can't listen via my phone for 24 hours a day! Thanks.

It was primarily targeted at music sites, but to be cautious Tunein removed everything. They are starting to reinstate channels that can prove they are legally licenced by PRS or are Spoken Word / Talk Stations. Both BritCom 1 & 2 have now been reinstated. others to follow soon.

I have been listening to the old BBC comic shows for sometime now and throughly enjoy the shows. Hardly a day goes by when I do not tune in. A great radio station, thank you all so very much. The Goons and other comic shows such as Hancocks Half Hour are, thank goodness, are still available and played regularly on BBC Radio 4extra. Still so very funny as when 1st broadcast some 60 years ago.
