Pumpkin FM, runs on two servers, Abbott & Costello. Unfortunately two days ago Costello gave up on life, the fan failed and the processor fried itself. I have since managed to rebuild the channels that were hosted on Costello on a Virtual Windows server in the Cloud. I have had to close down for a short while all channels that are located on Abbott so I may upload 500GB worth of content to the new cloud server. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hope to back up fully by the end of today..
We apologies for issues with Pumpkin FM Server 2. This has impacted 1940s, 50's, Classical Radio, British Radio and the Adventure & Western Channel. The problem should now have been fixed. The server was overheating which led to the issues. We have added extra cooling fans. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Pumpkin FM Server 2 is currently being upgraded as of 20.30 GMT on Wednesday 22nd August. the affects the 1940s, 1950s, Adventure & Western and British Radio. We hope that all streams will be rebooted by 6am GMT on the 23rd August 2018. Thanks for your understanding!
Enjoy all of the comedy channel the continuity announce who must have the most annoying stupidly affected voices that I've heard on radio for years !
Why does the woman that does the station promo piece on '1940's 1950's radio always say that it's 'MONDAY' ?? No matter what day it is, she says it's 'monday'. Stupid and annoying.
The British Comedy channel seems to be stuck; it’s only playing a brief “Do You Remember This?” drop/cue and then 20-30 seconds of silence - sometimes rebooting the stream, sometimes not.
Any one know the slow track, lady singer about 10 55 wed 23rd just before Dads Army.
Love the network, listen just about every night. Have you any idea when the schedule for the Sci-Fi and Horror station will be up? Thanks
Really enjoy the Comedy channel - by why the hourly time pips? Totally misleading due to encoding delays they only work on FM, so serve no useful purpose being up to 40 seconds out!
Great to hear The Small, Intricate World of Gerald C Potter; one of my favourite comedies.
The out put of British Radio has been digitally glitching for a while now,I've tried on different networks with different devices,it's definetly the stream from only British RADIO (hello cheeky,Sunday 13.00 gmt) It's all programs, all the time, all the other channels work fine
I love your comedy channel, it gets me through the day, and thanks for introducing me to Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel, hilarious stuff.
Hi John, could you do the same on the pumpkin landing page put a section in the main menu for the channel url's ,just as this is on rok ? It's almost impossible to find the correct irks otherwise,to get irks into the app that I much prefer to use for web radio,I have to search out the station with browser or app, load it into tune in or another player that shows the actual stream url, then copy/paste that into the app I use,for pumpkin, that's going to be 30 operations just to get the urls
We are currently upgrading PFM Server 1 to Windows 10. This may take a couple of hours. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
We suffered a power cut earlier this evening which took out one of our servers and 50% of our channels. Naturally it happened when I was away from HQ. The server has now been rebooted and the channels will slowly start to reappear. Sorry for any inconvenience! John
Pumpkin FM One is off the air on the Tunein app. You have been off the air for almost one week. Can you fix this?
Great radio I live down under in Aus I have to keep changing the audio volume every time your series ends and you transmit music the volume rises 15 to 20 % then drops back down. When you run another series this happenes on all my devices any ideas how to fix this ... Bill
I have a Windows mobile telephone running 8.1 which will not open links from Shoutcast. Can you recommend a solution so I can listen to you streams? Thank you in advance.
Do you by any chance have That's My Boy with Molly Sugden planned for the Watched Now Listen programming?
Quick Question, what is your stream url?
