Hey Bill! Pumpkin FM actually began life as "Too Good Radio" about 25 years ago—basically at the dawn of Internet Radio, back when dinosaurs still roamed the dial. 😄 In those early days, the whole operation lived on a spare PC tucked behind my TV. My “server room” was basically the corner of the living room. Occasionally, my wife would accidentally unplug the station just to vacuum. Nothing says ‘broadcast interruption’ like clean carpets! LOL Fast forward to today, and while it’s still just little ol’ me running the show (no fancy team of radio munchkins), everything now streams from the cloud. About 75% of the stations are now running on Ubuntu Linux. A few holdouts like Crime, Strange, Venture, and 1940s Radio are still hanging out on a Windows cloud server, but I’ll get around to migrating those too… Eventually!... Collapse
