Highlight of this show is clearly Groucho's encounter with Albert Hall (couple #3), a very funny exchange where Groucho looks genuinely thrown by the odd man with the crazy eyes.

While Groucho always had jokes to fall back on prepared in advance by staff writers, he never actually *met* the contestants until the show. Seeing him startled like this is always a high point when it happens. He spends most of the segment here pretending, hilariously, to be scared for his life.

There's talk of an uprising amongst the slaves, Lurcio's thrown into the dungeon after being caught holding incriminating pamphlets, and repeated rescue attempts make things a little cramped.

Hogan sneaks out of camp to a local German Hofbrau House to get the details of a nearby German army unit.

Ida Taylor is a real hoot, especially during the quiz segment. There's a fantastically funny outtake of her in the "stag reel" for this season (originally released by Shout Factory as a bonus on one of their two great YBYL DVD sets from a decade ago). It starts 5:57 into this video if the link doesn't start where it's supposed to (just make sure you play it to the end-- it's Ida's last line that's the real killer!):

Lurcio can't help feeling that the household are trying to get rid of him, news of a pretty visitor leads to ideas of trickery, and a bit of something in the wine results in a lot of something in the air.

Babes in Toyland is a Laurel and Hardy musical film released on March 10, 1934. Porridge is a 1979 film based on the television series Porridge.The film, set a year before the final episode of the TV series, includes one of the last appearances by Richard Beckinsale, the actor who played Godber. He died in March 1979, a few weeks after its completion

Kind hearted to a fault, a soft touch, always ready to give a helping hand, being a good neighbour gets him into lots of scrapes, but that's fine with him.

Gary Cooper, Ann Sheridan star in this family film.

Scotland Yard receives news, that bank notes stolen in a Royal Mint van heist have turned up in South America.
Inspector Caesar Smith, (Denis Shaw), is put on the case, and ends up in Brazil, where he learns that the stolen notes were used in the purchase of coffee beans, which leaves him trying to track down the buyer, as they were more than likely the men behind the Royal Mint robbery.
He follows the trail which leads to Europe, before ending up back in Britain at the door of possibly the guilty coffee importer/van robber.
This is a pretty well paced, and enjoyable, little film at just over an hour, in which Denis Shaw appears to be having a ball with his globetrotting, karate chopping, and coffee beans!
Maybe not a classic, but an interesting way to spend 60 odd minutes.

Storyline:
Three Americans are headed by ship around the cape to the California gold fields when they are put ashore for several weeks in a sleepy little Mexican village. For the job they are promised $2000 each. While each contemplates their own chances for getting the lady and/or the gold mine, if they can survive to enjoy it.
